ROADS also takes active participation is taking special care of all the differently-abled (DA) persons. We do follow up with District Rural Development Agency (DRDA) officials of various districts to get their applications sanctioned to get and have triple wheel cycles to the very vulnerable persons living the life differently. To improve the dignity of their lives among them in the villages, ROADS did run various awareness activities and campaigns. These activities resulted in gaining differently-abled people their respect and dignity. Also, gave them special facilities to live up their special life comfortably.
ROADS has organized a programs with the village youth on the eve of “ the world youth skill day” idetified and encouraged the youth with the state and the central sponsored skill development and entrepreneurship programs for social and economically backward. Our Organization is very motivative for the unemployed and droup-out for mainstreaming them into livelihood and skill development programs. Involving them in every social awareness and development programs in the area where ROADS is being as a changing agent.
ROADS members and volunteers also serve the people infected by Leprosy. We understand their deformity and channelize them for some income-generating programs. These people are usually seen begging here and there for livelihood. We help them earn their bread and live a sustainable life. They can do a lot of things and can restore their self-reliance again. These patients need mental support and they need the acceptance of their own. We make them strong from inside and also take the policies that the government has released for them, to reach them.
